Department:Maintenance 
Reports To:Maintenance Manager 
Status:Hourly 
Duties:
  • Smile and pleasantly attend to our guests' needs.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • Maintain and repair waterslides and fabricate parts as needed.
  • Receive verbal and written instructions and complete assignments efficiently with a minimum amount of follow-up.
  • General knowledge of equipment repair as it relates to: fiberglass chop and gelcoat equipment, air tools.
  • Account for tools and their maintenance.
  • Work safely with hand and power tools.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of practical experience
  • Education:
  • High school degree desired but not required.
  • Basic reading and writing skills.
  • Comments:
  • Maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance.
  • Work with hazardous chemicals and understand the importance of safety.
  • Work in conditions that are dusty, noisy and confining (possibly underwater).
  • Lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
  • Climb stairs and towers. Stand for long periods of time.

    Food & Beverage Cashier - Currently Hiring

    Reports To:Food & Beverage Lead 
    Status:Hourly 
    Duties:
  • Smile and pleasantly attend to our guests' needs.
  • Assemble and clean the soda units.
  • Maintain knowledge of the menu items and prices.
  • Assist the guests to make food & beverage selections.
  • Change soda bags.
  • Sweep and mop the floors throughout the day and at closing.
  • Keep the counter items stocked.
  • Keep trashcans cleaned and lined.
  • Write overrings, change register tape and run a cash register with optimum efficiency.
  • Cash in and out a moneybag on a daily basis.
  • Clean counters, shelves and storefront windows.
  • Prepare food items and observe food quality before serving the guests.
  • Open and close the working place when needed.
  • Know the location of all food and chemical products within the building.
  • Assemble and clean production machines when directed.
  • Assure full ice bins throughout the day.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leads/supervisors.
  • Stand for long periods of time.
  • Lift a minimum of 15 lbs.
  • Experience:
  • Helpful but not essential
  • Education:
  • Basic math, reading and writing skills.
  • Certified Food Handler (company training provided)

  • Able to work rapidly during rush periods and to remain calm.

    Duties:
  • Smile and pleasantly attend to our guests' needs
  • Maintain the parking lot is clean and all trash cans are emptied.
  • Stock and sanitize restrooms.
  • Use the following equipment properly:
  • Steam cleaner
  • Pressure washer
  • Other equipment
  • Clean the tables.
  • Proper use of cleaning chemicals.
  • Empty and clean trash cans in the park as needed.
  • Maintain the overall cleanliness of the park.
  • Perform reasonably related business duties as assigned.
  • Assure the trashcans and cigarette urns are located in the designated areas.
  • Wash and clean windows.
  • Males must be able to clean male and female restrooms and male locker rooms.
  • Females must be able to clean female and male restrooms and female locker rooms.
  • Experience:
  • Experience is helpful but not required.
  • Education:
  • High school education is helpful but not required.
  • Comments:
  • Must be well groomed, neat and polite.
  • Daily work hours are subject to change throughout the park operating season. Notification of changes will be at least one week in advance.

    Ride Operator - Currently Hiring
       
    Department:Operations  
    Reports To:Operations Supervisor  
    Status:Hourly 
    Duties:
  • Smile and pleasantly attend to our guests' needs.
  • Oversee assigned areas and ensure the guests' safety.
  • Wipe down tables and place umbrellas up or down as needed.
  • Clean up the park and pick-up trash.
  • Ensure guests' safety and administer first aid when necessary.
  • Dispatch guests on the rides.
  • Perform job functions within all the park policies and procedures as noted in the General Handbook and Operations Department Manual.
  • Does not need to be a strong swimmer, but must be comfortable in the water.
  • Meet the American Red Cross training requirements for a Basic Water Rescue certification which are: a) Pass all written and practical certification tests, b) Pass all practical water skills tests.
  • Stand for long periods of time.
  • Perform activities that require flexibility.
  • Tolerate varying temperatures.
  • Ability to lift guests on a backboard.
  • Climb stairs up to 7 stories high.
  • Carry heavy objects such as hoses, tables, and signs.
  • Attend 4 hours of In-service Training per month.
  • Participate in audit programs.
  • Experience:
  • Basic Water Rescue certification (obtained during employee training).
  • CPR for Professional Rescuer certification (obtained during employee training).
  • Experience is helpful but not required.
  • Education:
  • Must be currently enrolled in high school or GED equivalent.
  • If not attending, must have high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Comments:
  • Must be well groomed, neat, and polite.
  • Daily work hours are subject to change throughout the park operating seasons.
  • Must be 16 years old or older.
